Yunus Khan a.k.a Jiao Sai

Most of penang sites people who are usually staying up late and getting hungry , most of them craving for food . One of my late dinner or supper area when i am hungry or craving for it. Yunus Khan is selling a various of food ,which you are able to look onto the menu which is located inside the shop while mostly i sit at the road side next to the Yunus Khan. Among the Chinese penang sites  know the meaning of Jiao Sai which based on Hokkien language , it mean bird poop.  They have moved to the new location which you are not need to worry about the 'flying bird poop' .

I m totally into Jiao Sai tom yam maggi goreng which comes with pieces of chicken meats but be careful when you are having it , sometime it comes with chicken bones.

This is where they cook the noodle and fry the chicken slice before serve, they even got sell fried rice , soup maggi noodle  and John bread ( Roti John) .

This is what we had : Tom Yam Maggi Goreng ( Double without chicken ) . You can choose between small size and double size. While this is our simple dinner after our break at Stigun Cafe. 

Drop by to Jiao Sai for their infamous Tom Yam Maggi Goreng. Its delicious. The first try , we been craving to it. 

It located at 159, Argyll Road which is opposite to YES Hotel. They open from 5 pm in the evening till 5 am in the morning ( daily).  :) Thanks for viewing 

Dinner Treats : Pik Nik Cafe , Nagore Road

Pik Nik Cafe , Nagore Road

If you been reading my food blog , you will notice that i mentioned about this cafe before and its also hot spot place for people to chill and building up kinship . A sudden craving date with oppa after my brunch treats at KFC , i am kinda of addicted to their waffle salmonster which i will have when i am in Pik Nik Cafe. Heavy rain, people do take care of yourself due to the weather .

The table which i was having my supper with oppa is made out from used door. Most of the thing in Pik Nik Cafe is made out from used thing before. Recycle and used. Go Green!

Supper Treats :

As usual for me , i always order their waffle salmonster which come along with scrambled eggs with mayonnaise and smooked salmon. I feel that today the waffle is too salty does not taste the same .

As for oppa, he been dying to try their waffle with natural ice cream. This is what he order : which i can`t try due to my allergies with chocolate. M.s Strawberry, he totally enjoying it. It come with chocolate waffle, cocoa powder , slices of strawberries, almond and vanila ice cream with nuts.

Cold cold night, we order hot beverages, as for me i m having honey milk which i feel at Twelves Cups the honey milk taste better.

As for oppa, he was having honey lemon tea. 

Beverage in Pik Nik Cafe maybe that could not expect it to be nice for everyone but the waffle is drooling .

Tan Jetty Thai Food 

Its our first time of having dinner in Jetty area . The main purpose of going to Tan Jetty Thai Food is to try their Tom Yam Seafood due to the way of believing can cure slight flu and fever .

In order to reach to Tan Jetty Thai Food , you must look for a coffee shop in the name as Xen Teck Cafe along the Weld Quay road be careful its at inner side after the petrol station. And then turn into the junction beside this coffee shop and you can see there is a Chinese temple . You need to drive along the way into the residence area which is known as the fishing village in Penang Island . You will see a big landscape parking area for Tan Jetty Thai Food`s customer car and its free.  You can easily notice Tan Jetty Thai Food after park the car. If you are walking like we did before we realized there is a big landscape to park, you need to walk into the residence area. 

By the time , we reached Tan Jetty Thai Food is at the night. I am unable to take the full landscape of Tan Jetty Thai Food. You need to walk into the entrance and you can find the restaurant is made from wooden house. 

Tan Jetty Thai Food Menu , you can check out what food you want to try and have in there. They are selling three type of different tom yam. If you are tom yam lover , you able to try different types of tom yam . Yum Yum . They got Tom Yam Seafood ( Clear soup) , Tom Yam Seafood ( Hot Spicy ) and Tom Yam  Leg Pork.

After we are ordering the food. we are waiting for the time to eat.

Here comes our dishes for our dinner for three person : my two best crime in partner and i

Tom Yam Seafood Hot Spicy. 
The tom yam taste quite good. Like he said its normal taste for him. Hot and spicy for me . As for my sister, she comment that Bukit Genting have much delicious tom yam soup which i never tried before.

Shell Salad
This is the dish which my sister choose. The shell is a lot amounts for three person. The clear soup with some chili combine along with the shell and it make it different than other place which selling shell in different recipe. 

Crispy Kang Kong , which is deep frying the water spinach . I tried once in Four Season Restaurant before. My sister comment that nearby her work place there is a place which are selling deep fried water spinach taste more delicious. I still prefer stir fried water spinach with chili flakes.

One of the Thai Food must try when you are dining in a Thai Food Restaurant which is Fried Pandan Chicken. As for my opinion , i still prefer the one which my family and i having in The Gardens which is nearby to Sushi Zanmai in The Gardens. The chicken is not so fulfilling for my sister and i . As for oppa , he is not choosy people for eating.

Miam Miam , Gurney Paragon Mall Penang

Miam Miam Penang St Jo`s , Gurney Paragon

Miam Miam , first Japanese- French restaurant which is opening in Gurney Paragon Mall, newly open shopping mall which is nearby to Gurney Plaza . And its our first time of dining in Miam Miam, been looking for opportunity to try their Matcha drinks , sweets and spaghetti after viewing their specialty in some of my friend instagram .And miam miam mean yum yum in French language. And their food really takes up the word of miam miam ( yum yum) based on the taste ,and unique way of making the food through daily starch, very berry healthy food lifestyle but its maybe too pricey side but the portion is bigger than you ever imagined. 

I did stopped by after having dinner with sister of mine and oppa , we were planning to try their sweets . When reach time , after been informed that their kitchen closed up around 9.45 pm. To avoid from disappointed feeling again, earlier we went to Gurney Paragon after parked our car and before our movie times started.  Here we are in Miam Miam but this time is with my parents and oppa. * To sister of mine : i promise we are going to have their specialty sweets when the next time we are together , my best crime partner *

Before the main entrance , you can even looking at the menu while waiting for seat . The waiter is friendly . After been asking for how many person, there is a seat for four . It is our lucky day , been wanting to try Miam Miam food.

A lot of people is dining in for their specialty . Wow! It made us feel so looking forward to try their foods.

Miam Miam Penang 

What we are having in Miam Miam Penang :

Iced Matcha Tea , which i supposed to place order of the hot matcha tea to taste their first grade matcha they are having due to oppa unable to resist hotness of food  . Next time , i will try the hot matcha tea

Iced Matcha Latte With Softee, iced matcha latte come along with ice cubes and their matcha ice cream, i totally liked the taste of their matcha latte with softee. According to friend, they are feeling their matcha is same like Starbucks Green Tea Cream based on their taste. But i am loving to have this again. Must have ! 

Sweet Treat : 

The Famous French Toast , which is come along with a pot and  the  toast is crispy and it come along with maple syrup which you can pour them into the pot along with their whipped cream , which my dad thought its ice cream.

Rice for The Day :

The first thought which come up in my mind when i did not look at the menu categories i was thinking this is pie with ingredients. Ha Ha Ha. It turned out to be rice . This is Pot Baked Souffle Doria , which you can choose with or without beef . The first spoon , the first layer we are guessing its eggs , layers of cheeses , some beef and mushrooms. Yum Yum. 

Conclusion : We feel the portion is too big for one person. Portion is bigger than we thought. 

Can drop by to this first Japanese-French Restaurant while you are enjoying your shopping day in Gurney Paragon Mall.

Moustache Houze , Campbell Street Penang

This is the newly opening of hot spot for chilling out , even a place for building up a relationship , friendship and family too. A new place beside as we know Pik Nik Cafe, The Twelve Cups, Goh Kaki , Light House, Kaffa, Sip And Chew, 55 Cafe , The Mugshot Shop and others . 

This shop is based on mustache concept based on all of their utilities consists of a sign mustache . While its my first time of visiting Moustache Houze and its of my best two crime in partner for food which is my oppa and a sister of mine. * On the way to Moustache Houze is not as planned , something is making the sister of mine upset and my oppa really need caffeine .

Penang infamous wall painting is in Moustache Houze Penang , drop by there and take  a pic next to  this warm and friendly surrounding :)

Even thought , the heavy rain did not stop people from chilling with their loves one in this Moustache Houze . See how long the queue is at the counter . 

Counter :

In Moustache Houze Penang, they even are selling light sweet food like various of cakes , they are selling coffee , juices and flavored ice cube.

Strawberry Short Cake , i feel sponge cake come along with almond , cream and slices of strawberries . 

Burberry with peanut butter , taste good along with the bur-berries . Yum Yum. Must try for peanut lovers.

Caramel Macchiato  Crepe Cake , for me i feel too milky and i can feel every single of layer which melts into my mouth.

 

Caffe Americano , which is my oppa loved the most . Black coffee. 

Earl Grey Tea , which is one of my favorite tea . I fall in love with this Earl Grey which i tried in Moustache Houze. If tea lovers can drop by and try this Earl Grey.

Mocha, which is both sister of mine loved it but too bad allergies with chocolate.

Time for their infamous flavored ice cube :

My crime in partner for food and beverage tried on their flavored ice cube with a small bottle of 7 up drinks. Since , we want try their expresso or chocolate ice cube with cold milk too bad its out of menu on Merdeka Day. This is passion fruit flavored ice cube with 7 up . Look at the simple step. Then Taa Daa Dah :

Mix the 7 up with passion fruit flavored ice cube . Yum Yum!

Oppa additional order one grand coffee beans :

Columbia , i can smell the aroma of this coffee while he was having it.
